70TH ANNIVERSARY RUNSITE : BANDAR BARU SELAYANG QUARRY

Directions from KL CITY & SOUTH

Drive out of town heading North on Jalan Kuching Trunk Road 1 KL/Ipoh heading for Rawang/Ipoh.
After passing turn off to Batu caves/MRR/Kuantan - Set trip meter to 0.
Travel for 5 km, (pass the Pasar Borong on your right) and turn off for Jln Bidara. The signboard indicates the Gombak District Office to the right.
Go up the left ramp to traffic lights. Turn right and drive 1.5 km until you reach a roundabout.
Take 9 o'clock ( left) to Quarry Road.
Follow this road for 3 km to run site. (See map above for details).

From North.

Exit North South Highway at Exit 113 (Sungai Buloh) follow signs for Kepong/Kuantan. Drive on this highway (route 54 & later 28) following signs for Batu Caves.
After passing a lake on right and Petronas & Shell stations on left, keep left and take left slip at roundabout, follow signs for Route 1 north (Rawang/Ipoh).
Set trip meter to 0.

Alternative route from Rawang.

Follow route 1 south to KL. After Templars Park, the road goes uphill and just as it goes downhill, look for left exit to Bandar Baru Selayang and Gombak District Office and follow signs.

From East Coast /Karak Highway/ MRR2

Follow signs to Batu Caves/Kepong.
After passing Batu Caves keep left following signs for Ipoh/KL/Rawang. Do not go over flyover.
Go to Roundabout and take 3 o'Clock on Route 1 North (Signs for Rawang/Ipoh)
Set trip meter to 0.
